Norway v South Africa Live Stream

Norway v South Africa Live Stream.Norway host South Africa in Oslo on Saturday in an international friendly that you can watch right here at your gateway to live streaming international football on the internet.

South Africa are desperate to get as much match practise as possible before next summer’s World Cup finals which they themselves will be hosting. Because they are hosting the tournament they haven’t had to play a qualifying match, so they have to make do with friendlies. The only thing that is wrong with this is the fact that the games are very often not competitive enough, so a so-called weaker footballing nation such as South Africa may struggle when it comes to the nitty-gritty of competitive games once the competition kicks off.

The game against Norway though on Saturday, will offer them a stern test; especially as Norway will still be smarting from not qualifying for the tournament themselves. In their last friendly, the South Africans defeated Madagascar 1-0.

For their part, although Norway managed to finish second in Group Nine of the UEFA qualifiers for the World Cup, they were still a mighty fourteen points behind group winners Holland, who finished the group with a perfect eight wins form eight games played. Norway actually finished on the same points (ten) as Scotland, but although they won one game less than the Scots, they still managed to finish above them virtue of a better goal difference.

The game against South Africa on Saturday offers the Norwegian management the chance to experiment with some new or fringe players, while trying to hone the team in preparation for the start of Euro 2012 qualifying which begins shortly after the World Cup finals end.
