Argentina v Peru Live Stream

Argentina v Peru  Live Stream.Diego Maradona and his Argentina side face a date with destiny at the Estadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti in Buenos Aires on Saturday evening, as they play their penultimate game in the South American qualifying section for the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa. See if they can pull off the victory that will move them closer to qualification by tuning into and enjoying the South American live football in all its glory.

Argentina have had a torrid time during this qualifying campaign; so much so that Diego Armando Maradona appears to be relenting to public pressure and is considering his future as national team coach. While beginning the campaign as joint favourites with Brazil, the Argentineans now find themselves languishing in fifth position while contemplating the very real possibility of not qualifying for the World Cup finals.

As things stand in the group at the moment, with the top four qualifying automatically and the fifth place team having to go through a playoff against the fourth placed team of the North, Central America and Caribbean section, Brazil lead the way with 33 points and have already qualified, Paraguay occupy second spot with 30 points, also already qualified. We then have Chile in third with 27 points, Ecuador on fourth with 23, and then Argentina currently sitting in fifth with 22 points. The problem for Argentina with two games remaining lies in the fact that directly behind them are three teams within two points. These are Uruguay and Venezuela on 21 and Columbia on 20 points. Therefore, any slip-ups could prove fatal for Maradona and his men, especially with the fact they are playing away to Uruguay in their last game on Wednesday.
