Wonderkid Eyal Golasa will not travel with Maccabi as he is suffering from a hip injury. Maccabi won their weekend domestic game 3-1 against Hapoel Be’er Sheva. Vladimir Dvasvili netted a brace for the visitors, with Shlomi Arbeitman also getting on the scoresheet.
