Just like Milan, Real Madrid also won their weekend domestic game 2-0. And just as Marco Borriello had scored a brace in Italy, Argentine international Gonzalo Higuain netted both goals at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Reigning FIFA World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo has not recovered in time from his ankle injury to be able to play this game.
