Everton expected to be a mainstay in at least the middle of the table this year but have been unable to get anything going so far. David Moyes couldn’t get his team prepared for the season and they were given a beating by Arsenal by a score of 1-6. The only bright spot was a goal from Louis Saha. They were unable to bounce back last week either and suffered from a disappointing 0-1 loss to upstart Burnley. This is their chance to get on the board this year and they need to take advantage of it in their game against Everton.
Wigan Athletic looked to be a surprise team this year as they opened with a very impressive win over Aston Villa thanks to great play from Rodellega and Koumas.
